Has the Cloud Changed Business?

I saw a LinkedIn article that drew my interest talking about whether the use of cloud technology has impacted on business costs. The article highlighted results about the motivations behind businesses move to cloud computing systems. I was quite surprised to read that whilst the majority of businesses surveyed saved money with moving to the cloud, those savings were small. What was no surprise however is that one of the main drivers is data availability from multiple devices, which is a major business benefit.

I would be interested to hear others views on this and the other outcomes of the survey.
